Super Space Pirate

Super Space Pirates is a retro 2D space shooter coded entirely in Python.

The goal of this game project is to create a classic top-down shooter with an enemy AI that rivals human players in all ways ... including making mistakes.

Please note this project is being developed by a 1 person team who's currently only using their spare time to develop and work on this game.
This game has only been in development for less than a month and your donation could help turn this into a full-time project and allow them to dedicate more time to the game's development.
All assets including the font used and spaceships are currently just placeholder assets and will be replaced with original art. 

TODO List:

 - update enemy AI to move on the Y-Axis 
 - update enemy AI to lure and bait the player

(We are still working to improve the AI further for both Boss AI units and Cannon fodder AI units to be implemented)

- Add ability to board enemy ships after disabling them

- Add powerups 

- Add the ability to call reinforcements 

- Add Setting Menu and Resolution Settings

-Add game audio
